Statistical Portrait
The UMass Boston Office of Institutional Research and Policy Studies is pleased to present the new-format Statistical Portrait, beginning with Fall 2006. This book contains current and historical data (for the university as a whole, for Colleges and for academic programs) on enrollment, admissions, and degrees conferred. We also include special sections on retention & graduation rates, instruction, continuing education, and faculty and staff, and a one page dashboard summary of performance indicators. We have created a New Table Guide for your use to help navigate through the new format. Reports for our Fall 2007 Statistical Portrait will be posted as they become available. Please see below for the most recent updates and contact us with any questions you may have.
An example of the kind of question the Statistical Portrait can answer is:
How many students applied for admission in Fall 2007 and how many enrolled? (Table 7: University Level Data). Data are arranged in tables and can be used for analysis.
